Seafood Choices Alliance at the
European Seafood Exposition

Join the Alliance once again this year at the largest seafood event in the world, the European Seafood Exposition (ESE)!

Seafood Choices Alliance’s participation in ESE is timely. Continued industry commitments are proof that the mainstream seafood marketplace is increasingly embracing sustainability.

Cocktail Reception at ESE

On April 23, the Alliance will host its annual cocktail reception (invitation only) at the Australian Pavilion (Hall 9, No. 4274). In 2007 over 200 attendees from across the seafood supply chain, policy, media and the conservation community - including representatives from Tesco, Young's Bluecrest and Nutreco - gathered to mingle and enjoy sustainable seafood.

Founded in the United States in 2001, the Alliance works with the seafood industry - from fishermen and fish farmers to distributors, wholesalers, retailers and restaurants - to make the seafood marketplace environmentally and economically sustainable.

The Alliance launched its European activities in 2005 to build a more environmentally responsible seafood marketplace and to serve as a bridge between the seafood industry and the conservation community. Seafood Choices Alliance will continue its partnership with conservation organisations and with leaders across the industry to advance the issue of sustainable seafood.
